clinic and patient prep

Proper preparation helps ensure a smooth, efficient visit and the highest-quality images. Please review the following guidelines before your appointment.

SEDATION

For abdominal imaging, sedation improves image quality and patient comfort, improves efficiency and reduces manual restraint. Beneficial for nervous, fractious, obese, or deep-chested patients. Required for FNA. Your veterinary team will be responsible for all sedation administration and monitoring. At least one staff member should be available to help gently restrain and position the patient during the exam.

INFORMED CONSENT

Please ensure informed consent is obtained before the appointment for sedation, ultrasound scan and/or fine-needle aspiration. Sample consent form is available upon request.
